A 3-day cleanse is short and sweet, but makes a big impact. It's an amazing way to re-set your energy, thought patterns, eating patterns and blood sugar response. This cleanse combines the mineral rich gut healing powers of bone stock, with the amazing liver cleansing power of fresh pressed green juice, and enzymatic power of raw sprouted almond milk. I often recommend the 3 day cleanse as a jump start to a 3o day cleanse. Other times, the 3 day cleanse is a wonderful way to get back on track after holidays or travel. You'll be amazed at how quickly your body responds to this incredibly nourishing and gentle cleanse.
Here's what to do....
Ideally take 2- 5 days before starting to simplify your diet, nourish with whole foods and remove all grains, dairy and sugar. This will help prepare your body for this gentle cleanse.
I love chicken soup. I make it every Friday night, but I wanted something different. This recipe was inspired by several others and it turned out so well, I had to post it! A couple of things make this one a winner. First, it’s cold outside, and this is a warming recipe , so good for the kidneys and spleen, without too much heat, so still kid friendly. It’s probiotic if you use the homemade hoisin and it’s made with bone stock, so it’s incredibly rich and nutrient dense. Most importantly, everyone loved it and loves the leftovers!
Probiotic, Paleo, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Warming
Ok, this is a fun one…. Let’s talk about tooth decay. No parent ever wants to see their child’s teeth chipping away! Believe me, we didn’t. Our little guy was still nursing and had a pretty incredible diet, so to say I was surprised, would be an understatement. Of course I immediately did a thorough inspection and he was missing chunks of tooth in three other spots! I don’t typically rush off to dentists and doctors, but we went to 5 dentists over the next two weeks, We found out that Emmet had “soft and weak enamel.” Basically, Emmet’s teeth had no protection and we were headed towards serious tooth decay. Four of the dentists said that we “HAD” to do dental surgery.
