Many of the people that I am working with right now that are sick are being told to stay home. We also know that many that get sick will not receive hospital or medical care and home care will be very important for full recovery. This is what I recommend having in the home to prepare for, prevent, and treat COVID-19. Below are the home remedies that I have on hand and recommend. Some of these I also have available to the community. Right now, Amazon and most herbal companies are still shipping. This is my personal list. It is so incredibly important that you all know that this is not medical advice. Herbalists do not diagnose or treat. Even more important, in this situation, we just don’t know enough about this virus. We are learning a lot from China right now about how COVID-19 shows up energetically in the body and how best to treat the virus. That being said, the herbal and homeopathic community are still just speculating. Again, home care will be very important with medical shortages and hospital overflow. Based on what we do know, below are my best recommendations for what I would want to have in the house.

Edit: 3/13/20 The below article was written on 2/5/20. Our current situation with COVID-19 has changed significantly. The recommendations for natural prevention and treatment remain the same. _____________________________________________ There is increasing fear right now around the coronavirus and the flu. Every year there is significant media focus on the flu and this year, the coronavirus is the latest concern in the media. While the coronavirus can be quite serious, it usually causes mild to moderate upper-respiratory tract illnesses, like the common cold or flu. From a prevention perspective, the fear that rises up from these alerts could possibly be more damaging to the body, and to the community, than the disease itself. As we make efforts to stay well this season, remember that fear suppresses the immune system and does not create empowerment for wellness and overall well-being. This is not an article to debate the vaccine issue. If you are reading this article, you are likely vaccinating your children or yourself, or you are considering it. This is an article to support parents to keep their children healthy. While this article is geared towards children, it is just as relevant and applicable for adults. Regardless of your belief system about vaccines, every adult and parent should know how to prepare for, and detoxify from, vaccines. I believe that we all want what’s best for our children and for ourselves! This is simply a guide for healing and balance. A guide to prepare the body for vaccines and to detoxify the body after receiving vaccines. If you are vaccinating for any reason, consider adding a healing protocol to your plan and choices. Finding a breast lump is scary business. I’d like to start this post by acknowledging the absolute terror of that experience along with gratitude that it wasn’t cancer. I am well and happy to be sharing this story with all of you. Recently, I found two lumps, one large and one small. Though I had also found several small lumps in the past, they were never anything like this, as those turned out to be fibrocystic tissue. These lumps were definitely different. One of them was huge, and there was no question that it was there and it was real. The morning after I found it, I even had a friend check it for me. After feeling it, she shrieked and jumped away from me. She acted how I felt...scared. I get asked regularly what I keep around the house to prevent or treat illness and injury. Even in a healthy home, kids get sick, and with four athletes in the home, we have our fair share of injuries! Below is a list of what I always have on hand along with some usage tips. The truth is, I have many more remedies at home as I need them for my work, but these are the ones that I use the most. You can treat many illnesses, injuries and emotional needs with the list below and each one has many more uses than I could ever list here! In addition to the list below, I have found that a whole foods diet, low in grains, dairy, and sugar, helps to keep us well. Don't forget that food is medicine! Try putting together your own natural "medicine" cabinet. I think you’ll be amazed at how much healthier you’ll be and how much time and money you’ll save on doctors visits and prescriptions. |
