Happy Spring! Even in the midst of this challenging collective global experience, Spring has still arrived and I absolutely love this time of year for healing and transformation. We feel a sense of growth and re-emergence. We have the energy to take steps, to look at things anew, and to sink into nature. We've gone into the dark, we've been nourished, and we've come back. This feels relevant every year and even more so now. In the midst of the darkness, many of us have been gifted with the beautiful opportunity of time and rest! I am choosing to sink into this opportunity. It doesn't mean that we ignore the darkness. We just acknowledge and expand in the darkness AND embrace the growth of Spring. During this season, people often experience physical symptoms of cleansing, along with anxiety and fear. Our bodies know that we are growing and our organs are supporting us to turn over and clean out. Our livers reactivate and our blood purifies and circulates. Perhaps you are noticing it, even more, this year as we have had an opportunity to slow down and observe. The physical signs of this cleansing may look like acne, skin issues, fatigue, or anxiety. I encourage you to allow all of these symptoms to surface and move through you. These symptoms are our allies. They tell us what is happening in our bodies. We are in the midst of deep collective cleansing and healing. It is like the Spring of all Springs.
It may feel like aligning with the seasons is the last thing that we should prioritize this year. I have decided for myself, that I will dig deeper, listen more closely and receive everything that this season has to offer. There has never been a better time to heal. We have time to focus on the physical and emotional aspects of ourselves right now. Take time to cook, reflect, and release. We are regaining our strength, pulling energy from our roots, and resurfacing. We're getting stronger, but we are still fragile. Be gentle with yourself. Begin to add more fresh, cleansing foods and herbs, but not foods that are too hard to digest. It's not summer yet! And while we are pulling energy from our roots, we must take care to remain deeply grounded, especially now in this new season and this new reality. Take excellent care. Stay grounded. Stay well. Happy Spring my Friends! Sending you infinite wellness, Mitten

anks for sharing the article, and more importantly, your personal experience of mindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. Appreciate you reading and sharing your story since I can certainly relate and I think others can to
